 Educational
staff development, also known as professional development, has
gone through many changes over the years and continues to do so.
Today staff development for teachers and other school staff is
crucial due to the key role of accountability in our school
structure. Effective professional development for educators must
be based on the proven results of research and good practice. The
design and management of staff development is truly an Art.
The
Art of Staff Development presents
a process to guide the site-based staff developers in schools as
they organize and plan effective staff development.
